Hello, I can't find the gerbera app in the apps listed here : https://truecharts.org/docs/charts ? Was the app added to the apps list, as written here ?

I'm looking too for a lightweight DLNA server I can install in TrueNAS Scale/Kubernetes, without having to launch a whole VM just to have DLNA capabilities. Best regards, Yann

Please ignore anything over 6 months old. You're literally refering to comments made before SCALE was even released.
Also please take the time to READ the issue you're commenting on. As you can see right above you it was closed due to inactivity, so obviously it was never actually added.
We don't have the manpower to clearify each and every year-old app-request that is closed.

Describe the app you request to be added Please add DLNA-compliant lightweight media server such as Gerbera. Currently of the 3 main media servers 2 with similar codebases (jellyfin and emby) do not support mDNS/multicast traffic in their default "simple" configuration. The third is PLEX and it's mostly the same, mainly due to how multicast traffic is being processed by the binaries from upstream of the infrastructure. During issue reports for the non-functioning by default DLNA component that is being switched on by default as well, I was told to better request addition of a micro/small/light DLNA-compliant server that could default to using HostNetworking and serving DLNA/UPnP media clients. I think Gerbera fits all those criteria, is officially released in docker format by the software dev team, and is actively developped/updated.
