I cannot play Vorbis directly in Chrome on Windows. The same thing in Firefox works fine. HTML5 vorbis audio test at http://hpr.dogphilosophy.net/test/ works fine on Chrome, though.

It is broken on the latest beta? You can test it out here: http://jamstash.com/beta

grimm26 commented 10 years ago

Yes, it is still broken. I got no popup error like I show above with your beta site, but un-transcoded vorbis will not play.

I have some .ogg files that play in Chrome. Can you send me a test file? tsquillario@gmail.com On Oct 9, 2013 1:02 PM, "Mark Keisler" notifications@github.com wrote:

I'll email you something.

I connected to your server all the ones I tried it's transcoding your ogg files to mp3. To disable it go to Subsonic > Settings > Transcoding and remove 'ogg' from the 'mp3 audio' Convert From

Plays for me.

grimm26 commented 10 years ago

I disabled mp3 transcoding for the jamstash player for your account.

Hit F12, then try to play a song, do you get any errors? Plays fine for me from your server, I tried a bunch from the Random playlist too.

tsquillario commented 10 years ago

Yea I had it happen twice, it's very random. I would be curious to see the Network requests when this happens, you have to keep the Developer Console open to capture the requests. If you click on the song again to play, it plays which is weird...

grimm26 commented 10 years ago

dunno if this helps jamstashconsole

grimm26 commented 10 years ago

also, I never get an ogg song to work and I can't pause one. Once I hit play, if I hit pause, it will switch back to play.
