v18.1 WordPress on Proxmox (v8.2.4) - problems with firstboot #1976

A user has reported that during firstboot of the new v18.1 release of WordPress there are a number of issues:

password field goes into the email field and vice-a-versa
password set for mariadb root doesn't work

In theory the only changes between v18.0 & v18.1 should be a new requirement of setting a domain and a newer version of WordPress. It seems that is not the case... :(
