"New Event" button does not respect date selected on the mini calendar - defaults to current day #7962

Describe the bug "New Event" button does not respect date selected on the mini calendar; it defaults to the current day.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Calendar
  2. Click on any date on the mini calendar at the left
  3. The view changes to the date selected on the calendar
  4. Click on "New Event" button
  5. The event creation window shows the current day, not the date selected on the calendar

Expected behavior Event creation window show the date selected on the mini calendar

Additional context Same error on web app. On Android app it is working as expected.
