In the event there are multiple network scanners available, the simple-scan app doesn't list them all and doesn't list enough information to distinguish them.
For example, the deb (44.0-0ubuntu1, lunar) does a good job of listing all available network printers. And it uses a different printer name/description, allowing the user to distinguish them from each other.
The simple-scan snap in candidate (44.0, Rev 792) has a less good name/description for each printer.
