That's certainly part of it, that page seems to be about safely sending the data to someone who does not have access to the particular storage platform the data is on, which is certainly useful. (Although it should be clearer SURFdrive is not suitable for highly sensitive data. SURFfilesender and Zivver are)

I was thinking most about transferring large amounts of data. >100GB, amounts that don't fit on a laptop dirve
