We will use the issue tracker of this repository to serve as our course's mailing list to send out general class-wide annoucements.
To subscribe to the course annoucements, "watch" this repository by clicking the watch button in the upper-right corner. Once you've started to watch this repository, each time an annoucement is posted as a new issue, you will get an email notification from Github.
To send a message to the mailing list, simply create an issue. Then, everyone who is watching this repository, which should be mainly the instructors and the students taking this course, will get the message in the form of an automatic notification sent by Github.
