It would be nice to have an included plugin for rviz/rqt which would display active alarms, create buttons to toggle alarms, etc

Feature request, obviously (don't think I'm allowed to add tags)

I was planning on writing an RQT plugin for ros_alarms at some point before I package it.

rqt would be good, but I feel like rviz would be more useful for our needs. Most of the time we're looking at rviz

It could get pretty messy to visualize all of the alarms in rviz, but it's doable. That's more in @ironmig's wheelhouse, though.

@OrangeHoopla will be taking this over. He is basing his work on the GUI I developed for NaviGator. Please give him some more information about the specifics of how you want the GUI to look and behave.
