CineForm integration #26

Open retokromer opened 5 years ago

FYI: I published two Homebrew formulae for installing the CineForm codec’s library:

(related to https://github.com/usc-imi/aeo-light/issues/17)

FYI: I requested a new version of the official and of alternate CineForm libraries. The alternate have been updated, and therefore I have updated the corresponding formula.

And, of course, Paul B. Mahol opened a PR for FFmpeg, which possibly will not make it into the imminent release 4.2.

The FFmpeg patch still won't work for files from the Kinetta. It does not read the bayer phase and assumes AV_PIX_FMT_BAYER_RGGB16.

Hmm… Paul has at least one Kinetta file. Thanks for reporting!

The GoPro code that Emeric has cleaned works fine on my end.

FYI: Ten days ago, the official GoPro CineForm has been updated as well, and of course I have updated the corresponding formula.

I forgot to report here that I updated the formula for GoPro’s CineForm to their version 10.0.2a on 2019–12–01.

The current FFmpeg version 4.3.1 with cherry-picking a patch works on my end.
