Password Reset Token Invalid #406

Go to https://crowdmap.com Click "Login" Click "Forgot password" Enter email Click link in email See message that a new password has been emailed to me Use that new password to login at https://crowdmap.com/login/ Get the message, "That recovery token is not valid." screen shot 2014-11-05 at 11 59 36 am

I was also then able to log in successfully about 5 minutes later.

I'm able to reproduce this (what a miracle). If you try and login from the page that says your password has been reset with a temporary password, then you get this message. If you log in from any other page, it will work. My guess is there's an errant form field being submitted somewhere on that page or there's some javascript conflicting with the login. This probably isn't worth the headache to fix since a new UX is coming soon and this likely isn't something wrong with the API.

You’re probably right. My only other thought was that this might have something to do with your crowdmapID specifically. I tried initiating this bug from a number of links and couldn’t reproduce, but obviously it’s happening. I’m going to leave it open for now.

Getting this issue on a operationwinterwarmth.crowdmap.com have tried it a couple of times on different browsers. Any help and thanks in advance.
