Bluetooth behaviour: skip ahead versus changing tracks

Feature request:

I use vanilla music in my car (Tesla) via bluetooth. With other apps, I can skip ahead 30 seconds or back 10 seconds with a short click right/left, while a longer click right/left changes the track (or channel). With Vanilla Music, even a short click just skips to the next track entirely.

Can it be made to do something different with short/long clicks from bluetooth?

Absolutely same issue for me, I often like to skip forward or backward a few seconds using the buttons on my headphone or smartwatch. This is quite common during cycling as due to noise sometimes one doesn't understand a sentence and need to rewind a bit. Unfortunately vanilla doesn't support with yet without requiring to pull the phone out of the pocket.
