Fortunatelly I was looking at the issue list at the moment you posted :) .Good luck
I’m in Big Sur now. My dell came with an intel WiFi card. So now I’m working on Finishing up the efi setup so I don’t need the usb. Then I’ll dig into WiFi not working. I’m guessing I need a different kext
Thanks again for your guide. I was loosi all hope for a while.

Hi!
You have to manually enable WiFi in case of the M, as it was pretty random what Dell shipped the computer with. In some cases, it has Intel wifi, in some cases it has Broadcomm. I have plans to update the guide in that regard, explaining the situation.
Also keep in mind, that the itlwm project is pretty new and experimental, but they are developing and updating it actively, so it is a promising project.
Yeah it has a intel 7260 NGW in it. Partially why I bought this one unit is because it already had a WiFi Bluetooth card in it. So far none of the kexts have got the WiFi working. Bluetooth seems to. I even tried heliport? I think is what it’s called and that didn’t change either. Havent signed into Apple yet either. But it so far everything seems to be stable. So thanks again for your great guide and support.

I just reread your last email, what did you mean by "manually enabling WiFi"?

i'm an IDIOT. I'm still fairly new to hackintoshing. This was my first opencore project. I didnt install the intel kexts during the efi building portion. I thought it was like clover where i drag and drop. Once mounting efi, using propertree, watching youtube video how to add kexts to OC, i'm using wifi. This is so awesome. I just wanted to share my success with you and for you to know really how thankful i am.

Hey!
I meant that you have to add the kext as well as to add it to the config.plist file so it will be loaded.
I'm happy to hear that you've succeeded.
M
