Operating system

debian bookworm

Description

the issue from #465 reappeared the difference to my issue is, there is no firewall activated in DSM. DSM boots fine, no issues with docker logs or dmesg or such. The health script messages are the same as of #465 but dsm is reachable at 192.168.0.32:5000 (macvlan) fine. Nothing changed within config. Only upgraded to latest DSM

I think the problem is that with macvlan the host cannot reach the DSM ip (unless you apply the workaround as described in the readme).

A possible solution could be that I disable healthchecking when macvlan is used, so that the container always shows healthy. But the downside is that it will also disable the healthcheck for people that DID apply the workaround (like myself).

i'm used macvlan a few days/weeks and the container was healthy..... without your proposed workaround... you might be right, but why was it working without it?
