I think it’d be cool if we had a recommended and easy to deploy preconfigured metrics collection/dashboard config for people running a node, but not essential. A lot of traders will run non-validating nodes and having a nice way for people to easily see this kind of data would be cool and encouraging them and validators to share such dashboards in the community by making it easy would be really nice.
And Zabbix may be great for people actually managing infra seriously but it’s kinda gross and ugly aesthetically and not as “interesting” for community members, so I think things like this serve a different but not at all invalid purpose.
For this type we need 3rd parties running nodes really as they don’t have access to our machine/OS stats. I think we could do a bounty for a network level dashboard as soon as :dancer: is live though. I’d wait ’til then because I think liquidity supply etc. would be good to show. Of course if we want to show staking it’d be sometime later still but that could be a separate bounty to improve perhaps.
