Fixes for some issues spotted at GF onboarding time revision #133

@guidoferreyra This PR fixes most of the issues reported in #132. Please merge it and consider fixing the other issues reported for Cyrillic and the ligatures.

@vv-monsalve I made a new PR and asked to merge mine since it includes a few more changes like some fixes on the cyrillic. I added the license URL fix from this one. Thanks!
