R (replace mode) not supported #87

Support for R (replace mode) would be lovely. I keep trying to do this from vi/vim muscle memory and getting tripped up when it doesn't work. I know that c* or mouse selection is a workaround, but not nearly as fast for making many changes.

Has been a wishlist item since 2011 at http://help.vicoapp.com/bugs/r-for-replace-overwrite-mode-does-not-work-r2207

Worth mentioning is that the original developer has moved on and I'm maintaining things in my spare time, so how long it's been a wishlist item is only a small part of how I decide what to work on :)

That said, this is definitely something I want to add when I get a chance. Would be happy to provide guidance if anyone else wants to pick it up, as well.
