GUI v2 not yet running on RaspberryPi #1446

I installed the newest beta 3.50\~20 GUI v2 is available remotely "venus.local/gui-beta" no problem, but I can not enable the GUI V2 to display on the screen - VenusOS large V3.50\~20 beta running on RPI3B. There is no menu available to switch to gui v2 in settings>display&language What is going on? Is it available just on the Cerbo GX and Ekrano for now? is it possible to display the new guy on the screen of Venus OS running on RPI?

Also please give me the option to enable it. Many of us have screens. I think we can contribute a lot by testing. Or please give me instructions on how to enable it from the terminal.

Hi, its impossible at the moment; the problem is missing or not working graphics acceleration driver in venus os for the pis.

So, needs work by one of the gurus

@mpvader Thanks for updating us. I was also surprised to find that the "old" GUI is still present on my 3.50 system running on a RPi4. In my case I was heavily relying on the unofficial GUImods, and was looking forward to the updated GUIv2 incorporating much of this functionality. Mainly the temperature and tank sensor display. Hopefully we can get the new GUIv2 on the RPi at some point!
