Working on it ;-)

Thanks for working on it. Text input and image import are the two features that
make me keep going to Freenote instead of Quill. But I would rather use Quill
all the time because I prefer the user interface, features, and the fact that
it is open source. Great work, BTW!

I am a medical student, using Quill with Thinkpad tablet.
this application is wonderful, I replaced it by all of my note books and pens
for all the lectures, seminars, note takings & so on.
but the lack for image importing is the most weakness of this application.
I now it can be easy to add this feature to such a application by developers,
after that it can be the best note taking application in androids world.

Its been a while since this was added. In all the forum's I look at, the
ability to add images is one of the items I see the most.
Any updates on this?

Well image import is finished. Copy&paste is pretty high on my list of things
to do...

I had to look for the button... your right... awesome. Maybe mark this as "in
progress" since the copy/paste is still in motion.

Hi!
Great news!
I tested it on my Thinkpad Tablet. After loading the image, the program seems
to crash, but relaunching it gives the page with the image perfectly pasted.
Maybe some extra work to do, or a bug in my system ;-), but the new tool makes
quill much better. (Just using it to write notes down over building plans and
plots.)
Thank you!

Do you have v10.2? I fixed all bugs in the image handling that I know of there.
In fact, the google developer console shows only the occasional out of memory
error in that code. Always click on "Report" if you get a crash ;-)

Yes, i got 10.2, installed it yesterday... (or the day before, don't remember
exactly :D )
Tablet is updated to Android 4.0.3 (the latest firmware from Lenovo, as the
update tool claims).
I don't really know if it may be a collateral effect from any other installed
app.
Really, I didn't tested on a bare tablet, i have about 60-80 apps installed
(though no other app causes any problem or crash)
Anyhow, the image import process takes no more than 1 pic per page (if so), so
the effect is not annoying. Don't hurry ;-) .
Thanks!

Also, i forgot this: The system only says "The Quill application has stopped
unexpectedly", just after selecting the picture and pressing "Save". But no
Send Report button is shown. Only "Accept".
And I've just found out that pressing "Erase" has also the same result.
If I can do some tests that may help, don't doubt to tell me.
Regards!

Importing images is a great feature! I like it very much!
While for copy and paste feature, I think you could refer to the Notes Mobile
by VisonObjects Coompany.
And what's more, I would like to have prescise ereaser to have some explicit
modifications.
Text input feature will be preferred if I can us my keyboard to input somee
sentence or copy from some books. this will be very useful for a college
student like me because most of my work is related to electronic textbook,
notes, and assignments.
BTW, my device is Thinkpad Tablet This is really a great work of LENOVO~
Thank you guys very very much for adding all these new features since this is
already the 10.2 ed.

Having starred all the features, that I miss most in comparison to other
note-taking apps, I would like to second the feature of adding text in a way
that keeps it editable.

I agree the text editing would take Quill to another level for me. I felt it
might be less cluttered to put the idea in its own enhancement request, issue
74, here:
