Note: This tag release is different repo from previous release repo , as we have created new repo with https://github.com/virtual-labs/circular-dichronism-spectroscopy-iiith-js for converting flash experiments to javascript experiment. So tag version started from v1.0.0 for new repo.

Please add patch-analytics after all: help-dir in the makefile. By adding patch-analytics in all, you would be instructing the makefile to execute the code snippet present in patch-analytics.

You can refer the following makefile.

@BalammaBoya Repository size is 316.16 MiB and after building the lab, build(directory) size is more than 5 GB. Previous build(directory) size is 780 MB. Please fix this issue.

Introduction:

Circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy is a spectroscopic technique where the CD of molecules is measured over a range of wavelengths. CD spectroscopy is used extensively to study chiral molecules of all types and sizes, but it is in the study of large biological molecules where it finds its most important applications. A primary use is in analyzing the secondary structure or conformation of macromolecules, particularly proteins, and because secondary structure is sensitive to its environment, e.g. temperature or pH, circular dichroism can be used to observe how secondary structure changes with environmental conditions or on interaction with other molecules. Structural, kinetic and thermodynamic information about macromolecules can be derived from circular dichroism spectroscopy.

Circular dichroism spectroscopy is particularly useful for:

Objective:

Course Alignment: This virtual lab on Circular Dichroism Spectroscopy Lab is to be used as a supplement to a parallel course on the same topic. It is not designed to be a complete course/tutorial by itself where a student can learn Circular Dichroism Spectroscopy Lab just by going through the designed experiments.

Target Audience: Circular Dichroism Virtual Laboratory is desigen for mainly Under Graduate (3rd/4th year) and Post Graduate students. This lab will serve the purpose of interest of a large and diverse group of students.

@pavanchow : Experiment4 (To study the Circular Dichroism of some substances with chiral chromophores ) content is missing on production which is working on github pages. Could you please cross check. Please revert in to the old source.
