zxtune-android: playlist features #2208

Hi

I don't know if it's possible but it would be nice if the playlist automatically scrolls to the current playing song. It doesn't do that now. I always look there to see the song information (it's bigger fonts then the information area on top of the playlist.) But the playlist doesn't auto-scroll in current version.

I also would like to request a 'load' option in 'playlist' menu that allows us to load a playlist we saved. Now it just loads the last one saved I think. I see the saved playlist files on my device (and you can give them a name) but there is no feature to select a saved playlist to load. In this way I could make several playlists and load the one I want at any moment.

On-demand scrolling to active played item is planned as a part of UI reworking (no deadlines, though).

Saved playlists are treated as a folders. I.e. you can browse them, play referenced tracks in intended order, select tracks/playlists (since they're folder) and add them to your current playlist.

I don't understand. On my android device the playlist is saved as a file with extension .xspf and I can't load this playlist since a 'load' option does not exist. I have no idea what you are talking about...

When you explore your saved playlists via special 'Saved playlists' folder, no any extension is shown.

Anyway, you may select any saved xspf file and choose 'Add to playlist' menu item. Or click it to browse and add particular tracks.

I understand it now! It just works very differently from most players. They don't have this flexibility. They just save/open a playlist and that's it. I like it a lot!

What about writing a documentation page for android player? Many of those things I didn't know.

Omg... Who reads documentation? :) Maybe app has to give some clues when user is in 'Saved playlists' folder, but I have to think how to do it right way.

It is needed because your player has non-standard playlist features no other player has
