Hi,
The installation docs do not contain dual boot instructions. The technique isn't as popular as it was 15 years ago, so you have to populate your own instruction set.
If an option, use Photon OS as a container or as a hardened appliance. Also, see https://github.com/vmware/dod-compliance-and-automation/tree/master/photon/5.0.
(virtual) hardware, secure boot, boot partition access, grub entry maintenance, etc. - there are some dependencies for dual boot. For example, https://github.com/vmware/photon/issues/1417#issuecomment-1508558361, topic13, EFI BIOS entries are not properly cleaned up by Ph5. Hence, to revive this old technology, I think you should have the support of Fedora and Broadcom for this worthwhile task.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I now use Fedora but would like to move to Photon. However, I do not want to remove Fedora until I am certain Photon is for me. I know I would need to make a live Photon image and boot from it to install Photon. Maybe adjust grub too. Are detailed instructions available? Thanks
