Cider is an open source solution to Apple Music. They have a only Cider available for Arch Linux or Windows. This allows Apple Music users to listen to music without having to open it in a browser.

It was originally Apple Music Electron, but now its fleshed out and has more features than opening Apple Music in a browser. I have used this app on Arch and it seems like its not just a lazy attempt at porting the web version of apple music into an application. Apple Music is limited to only the Web or MacOS. This seems to be the best solution, if not the only solution, for an open source Apple Music player.

Hi there,

I went ahead and compiled it myself. Will be researching how to make a template.

Thanks

Any progress here? I'm also interested.

Because this is an electron app, it would be hard to maintain and they provide a flatpak, so I don't see a reason for a native package.
