Sometimes I need to search/replace a term/phrase but if there are occurrences with mnemonic character they, naturally, don't match.
It'll be nice if the search have a mechanism to reliably find those strings.
Personally, I'll be happy with regular expression search/replace mode.
I'd accept such PR.
