"YMCA of Central Florida on Nov. 8 began notifying just under 12,000 individuals of a data breach that occurred on May 20.
The breach involved an unauthorized third party attempting to infiltrate YMCA of Central Florida's computer network and gain access to internal files, according to official documentation filed with the Maine Attorney General's Office.
As a result of the breach, the following types of personal information of members and former members may have been compromised: name, social security number, mailing address, driver’s license number, date of birth, financial account number, passport number and personal health information."
