Are you saying we should have a tools section for each of the disabilities? If we do it just for cognitive, we will lose consistency across the disability pages.
Another way to handle this would be to add to the list of what people with cognitive disabilities often rely on in the introduction, but I'm concerned the list will get too long.
@lbeaze I think in an effort to not duplicate existing information, we'd like to look at ways to link to other pages rather than add a lot more content to these pages. I would also like to defer this linking activity to a future version. Would you be ok with that?
The core of my comment was to help tie tools people with these disabilities use and why they would use them.
For example: "Screen readers to hear what I'm seeing, so that I can understand it"
This will help bust a few myths (ex: only people who are blind or have low vision) use screen readers) and create better understanding of how people use the web.

I'm not advocating referencing specific tools, but something like this could go a long way to help people make these connections: ~ ~ As someone who needs reading assistance I might use one or a combination of the following tools:
Screen readers to hear what I'm seeing, so that I can understand it
Captions for videos so that I can read what I'm hearing so that I can understand it
Dictation software so that I can enter data into forms quickly
Browser extensions and typefaces specifically made for my disability. These tailor the appearance of sites to take advantage of how I think and see things.
