I am currently lecturing at the University of Greenwich teaching Transmedia (telling stories across multiple physical/virtual platforms) and wanted to teach my students WebVR to use in their Transmedia projects.
Is anyone already doing this as part of their curriculum? If so, what are the resources available and who is supporting/developing these resources?
I think WebVR has a lot of potential for use in Transmedia campaigns and one way of testing this/moving it forward is to teach it at UG/PG level. However, most of the students I teach are interested in content production and are not developers, so anything I give them has to have a certain degree of robustness so their projects don't fail due to sudden browser update in the middle of their Transmedia campaign!
I've been giving dozens of WebVR workshop for the last year to the public at large or to corporations so happy to share on what I have learned in the process.
