Fix 'use my current location' problem caused by rate limiting #1

This demo failed in XDK for me when trying 'use my current location'. It is timing dependent so the fail did not always happen. The API is limited to 2 calls/second.

Thanks for the refactoring. Am going to fast-follow with removal of the back button. The way that the history stacks is a bit odd since there are only three navigational components in the footer.
