Focusing on an area of interest (e.g., US). The resolution may be fine enough to work at that scale and would be more relevant to my work domestically. If not focusing on an area of interest, address Greenland's white coloring. Does the dataset have no data for these coordinates? Should I mask the outline of the Greenland landform? Should I change its color (e.g., grey?) and include a key to indicate no data are present?

That is up to you. I don't think Greenland is necessarily an issue but definitely worth checking why there's no data for it! having it be white is not an issue.
