lag and high CPU usage on macOS 26 when scrolling through big scrollback #6590

Describe the bug

on macOS 26, when there's a lot of scrollback history, scrolling through it will spike CPU usage and lag

To reproduce

I think it's self-explanatory

it should be smooth

Thanks for letting us know, we're not actively testing on macOS Tahoe 26, so we appreciate the heads-up. Keep in mind that its a beta OS so some of the issues with performance may be addressed by Apple and may not be related to Warp.

I get the lag even with minimal scrollback history. Seems like a compatibility performance issue, not just a content issue. Though I've noticed scrolling and overall increase in stutter on a lot of apps, so I wouldn't necessarilty blame it on just Warp.
