What is the specific image name you used? The latest system kernel downloaded by buster/bullseye/bookworm should be 6.1.y: https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/operating-systems/

Main problem - display app which is used in Cosmostreamer (based on well-known hello_video.c), uses FKMS mode, but your display driver works only in KMS?

Yes，the DSI display driver works only in KMS.
