Problem type: Video or audio doesn't play Description: The video or audio does not play Steps to Reproduce: Audio plays through the laptop speakers when selecting a "Listen Live" feed, but changing the audio output destination to an AirPlay receiver is unsuccessful. Using Edge I can send the audio to an AirPlay receiver.

Thanks for the report but unfortunately, I'm unable to test this issue. Could you try on a new profile and give us an update?

Creating a new profile:

  1. Open a new tab and type in the address bar "about:profiles".
  2. Click "Create a New Profile".
  3. Click "Continue", name your profile and then Click "Done".
  4. Head to your newly created profile and click "Launch profile in new browser".

Also if the issue is still reproducible after creating a new profile, please try on Firefox Nightly as well.

Please accept my apologies for not responding sooner, I have been travelling.

The issue persists in Troubleshooting Mode, and when using a new profile, and when using Firefox Nightly (now version 117).

The issue occurs when selecting 2 different AirPlay receivers.

The issue does not occur when sending audio from YouTube to the AirPlay receiver.

Please upload a screenshot if there are any errors in the browser console. Could you try with the Enhanced Tracking Protection disabled on a new profile and give us an update, please?

Same with Enhanced Tracking deactivating. No errors reported in the browser console, but the following warnings:

The repeated warnings seem to correspond with "An unknown error occurred handling HLS media." and "HLS playback has stalled because not enough media is buffered."

We appreciate your report. I was not able to reproduce the issue.

@oneofthedamons Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disabling add-ons and Ad-blocker (if available) and extensions or use a clean profile, and check again? If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config) please revert to the default settings and try again. Also, have the required cookies been accepted for this page?

If it can't be replicated no dramas, I can live without it. Perhaps it's a Monterey issue (it's a 2015 MBP model so can't be upgraded to Ventura).
