A monthly 'webvr-india' newsletter!

How about rolling out a mail to subscribed people every month with info like:

• Important updates from aframe.io & mozvr.com
• All activities reported by volunteers in current month at volunteer-contributions repo. We may also feature one person as "Superstar of the Month" (or we may come up with even more cool title), who has contributed the most.
• About upcoming contests & activities of WebVR-India.
• Notes from monthly meeting.
• Some cool tips for developers etc.

If we proceed with this plan, then we should roll out a google form for people to fill to get the newsletter mail every month. And once our website is ready, we will put up link to subscribe there as well.

Sounds like a good plan. But why a google form? How about we send this newsletter in a mailing list? Another thing, I'd suggest is to have a weekly newsletter (vs. one every month). We all know WebVR and AFrame are evolving at a super fast pace and a monthly newsletter would either be very long - in which case people will skip reading it or we will have to prune some of the updates - which is not a great idea.

Google form was an old idea which was discarded (when we discussed about it on telegram).

Reg weekly newsletter - We really dont have any volunteers to take up tasks right now. In fact, maintaining monthly newsletter itself looks big deal to me. Bdw, if we can make it easily to post monthly newsletters and we dont have much of other tasks then I think we can think of switching to weekly updates from monthly.
