Minimum sequencing depth when using single individual to infer demographic. #7

Hi,

If there is only one individual, how depth I need to sequence (whole genome sequencing) if I want to get reliability results using magic, 5X, 10X, 20X or 30X ?

Probably 30X. You want at least 80-90% of the sites to have high-quality calls, and you don't want there to be big biases in what gets called.
