Whid stuck in auto payload mode #30

So I’m trying to get back into the menu but can’t because it keeps typing. I can’t get in to change it back to not launch the payload when it’s plugged in. Tried to reset software following directions with IDE and the ESP tool but the esp tool doesn’t connect even tho it’s plugged in. It still runs the payload though non stop. I tried the hard reset too but didn’t do anything. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Plug it into a usb charger and not into a machine. Wait for payload to finish, then disable it.

I did that, I can’t connect to the ip even after connecting to correct wifi

lazyjay559 commented 5 years ago

The script keeps on running and doesn’t stop, I can’t connect to 192.168.1.1 either when connected to exploit SSID. Plugged into external power or computer

I run ifconfig and see that ip is 192.168.1.1 and it’s just not connecting

@lazyjay559,

Can you attempt to connect to it from another device? Are you using OS-X or Windoze? Linux? Can you try from a phone?

I know the software reset gave me some trouble, but I submitted changes to the repo; so, if you're are indeed following the steps, I'm not sure why the software reset is not working. Have you tried a hard reset (with the magnet)?

All the best.

I tried it on OS X, Linux and windows it just doesn’t connect to the ip I’m lost. Won’t even let me reflash it because it keeps on running script wether plugged into a power supply or computer
