I have found the following all-sky map:
The angular resolution is about 6 arcmin, which is similar to the radius of the globule. So we will only have about 2 resolution elements across the globule, but hopefully that will be enough.
I have measured the brightness of the H alpha emission from the globule using the Finkbeiner map.
In the map units, the peak brightness is 50 and the local background is 20, giving a net brightness of 30.
We want to compare this with the predictions of the ionized flow model, which @RobeReyes will calculate in issue #2
