I'm wondering about the functions of the chokes. #4

FL1 to FL5 are chokes with cutoff frequency of 8GHz, and I'm wondering about their function. According to the datasheet of IMX294CJK, there is no need of adding chokes on the output side. Are these chokes necessary? May I just replace it with wires?

Those are common mode chokes - made for canceling out high frequency noises. They are not necessary for sure, but something nice to have. By removing the chokes I'm not sure how that will impact your maximum FPC length but you can try.
