Try the command line switches --use-angle=gl
and then --use-angle=d3d9
.
Unfortunately it doesn't work, I've made several attempts but nothing, and using those commands the program closes almost immediately, at most I notice that when I try to start it it takes over 1 GB of RAM a supermium process, and then crashes.
Try the command line switches
--use-angle=gl

Can you try with a new user profile? (create shortcut, add the command line:)
--user-data-dir=C:\SupermiumData
Unfortunately no, the program hangs for about 30 seconds, recreates the 19 crash report files and then closes, at this point I don't know if it's an issue with my PC or something else, for the time being I'm going back to using version 126 Pre-Release
Small update: I think there is really a problem with RAM management in the 126 versions especially for PCs running windows 7, out of scrupulosity I wanted to try the 32 bit version and magically it works perfectly, doesn't crash and doesn't give any problems, however when you run the 64 bit version those 19 crash report files come out and most importantly I notice that even more than 5 GB of RAM is taken up, which in the pre-release 126 doesn't happen, probably that's why the crash happens for completely full RAM only from Supermium, maybe by mistake you have modified something in the 64 bit versions that gives it too much freedom to occupy too much ram or something else, in any case I hope this problem will be fixed in the next versions of supermium.
If I understand correctly, 126.0.6478.249 Pre-Release works and 126.0.6478.249 Release does not work. If the breaking change was within 249, then it would be something on Supermium's end. If it happened between 249 and 254, it may have been on the upstream (Chromium)'s end, but I don't see how their commits could have caused this issue. But if I can narrow it down, it will help greatly.
Unfortunately, Supermium on Windows 7 in particular faces many issues that are not widely reproducible, making them difficult to fix.
Exactly, I try to give you as much information as I can, at least in my case up to 126.0.6478.249 Pre-Release 64-bit everything works correctly, however if I try 126.0.6478.254 64-bit Releases it requires a high amount of RAM during the boot attempt and then crashes. On the other hand, if I try 126.0.6478.254 32-bit, everything works correctly and I have not experienced any performance or RAM anomalies.
For 64-bit version 126.0.6478.254, I tried both the command line --use-angle=gl and --use-angle=d3d9, but got no results: it crashed immediately afterwards and recreated the 19 crash report files given above.
If, on the other hand, I tried deleting the user folder or perhaps using another one, for example by doing --user-data-dir=C:\SupermiumData, supermium would stay open but in thumbnail format and with a black screen, taking up more and more RAM as if it was trying to load something but staying with a black screen, only to crash shortly after and recreate the 19 crash files.
Most of the changes between the pre-release and release were related to Chrome Refresh 2023, and specifically the change in the new tab button. In that case, what happens if you try running Supermium with --enable-features=ChromeRefresh2023
?
Unfortunately, nothing happens, the program keeps crashing. I'll leave you the crashpad folder if it helps you in any way. Crashpad.zip
Describe the bug I update from 126 Pre-Release to 126 R3/4
To Reproduce The program crashes after a few seconds

Additional context Everything works correctly for me up to Pre-release 126 When I try to start supermium as many as 19 crash report files appear
