I would like to make a custom board (mechanical primarily) with two not four drives. I saw this is an open-source project, but I can't locate the schematics. Please advise. -Chris Lott Sacheon, South Korea

Schematic and PCB files! PDF and DXF are not enough to modify and make changes. I would like to see a license too, either CC0 or CERN-OHL-P https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ https://opensource.org/CERN-OHL-P

braginini commented 2 years ago

@tlalexander we will be publishing the files soon. Will keep you updated on the License.

@tlalexander @thestumbler I've just uploaded schematic and board design files (Allegro). https://github.com/wiretrustee/cm4-sata-board/tree/main/design-files

braginini commented 2 years ago

@tlalexander also added CERN-OHL-P license https://github.com/wiretrustee/cm4-sata-board/blob/main/LICENSE

Cheers!

Wonderful thank you so much! If I find the time I will see about converting these files to KICAD, tho I may not have the time. If anyone wants to do this please do!

braginini commented 2 years ago

@tlalexander converting to KICAD is an awesome idea 👍

If you got a free minute could you export the schematics to simple PDFs?

Don't know if it's just my old machine or Allegro doesn't like me, but it only produces graphical glitches for me.

Thanks for the work, mate!

Yes please, thanks

I also wanted the schematic in PDF. Then I read that the Marvell 88SE9215 is super expensive so I might not need the schematic anymore 😂 where do you source that chip for low volume of under 10?
