Minor/nitpicky style changes to tty module.

This is pretty nitpicky so I understand if it doesn't get merged, but this formatting changed made it a little easier for me to read. I looked for some kind of community coding style guidelines to see if there are general recommendations out there but didn't find much of substance.

I've no strong opinion. I think the community is still trying to figure out these style things and there's not really guidelines yet.
