Mastodon Social Connection doesn't use Mastodon icon #20704

Expected behavior

The Mastodon icon to appear.

Actual behavior

Another icon appears.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Go to My Site -> Sharing (WPiOS) or My Site -> Social (JPiOS)
  2. Observe the logo next to Mastodon

Tested on iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 16.4.1, Jetpack iOS / WordPress iOS 22.4.0

Mastodon option is still not available. I'll close this ticket and we can reopen if needed.

Hey, @tiagomar. Since it's not available, is there a reason the app displays it in the app? Btw, Instagram Business also doesn't seem to have an icon.

Hey @kean! When I closed this issue Mastodon was not being listed within the connections. @twstokes mentioned on an Android ticket that the backend has a lot of control over what's displayed in the apps. https://github.com/wordpress-mobile/WordPress-Android/issues/18467

Yeah, just noted Instagram Business, but both Instagram and Mastodon icons look good on Android. I'm reopening this ticket for now.
