Crunchyroll selector is still under development, need to do some testing. Probably will add it in the next release.

venkat2305 commented 1 year ago

my ISP blocked gogoanime. So, it would be great to have only crunchyroll. Thanks

You can use a virtual private network(VPN) to bypass ISP restrictions.

venkat2305 commented 1 year ago

unfortunately they are blocked. I've tried everything. the ones that work have very low speeds like 1mpbs

I think that is a bit of an overkill, a DNS would be enough to bypass most ISP/Government restrictions. If a DNS is not enough, then that would mean you are either in China or in North Korea (or Russia nowadays)

@venkat2305 have you tried changing your DNS server? I'd suggest AdGuard DNS

Adguard: DNS1: 94.140.14.14 DNS2: 94.140.15.15

Google: DNS1: 8.8.8.8 DNS2: 8.8.4.4

Cloudflare: DNS1: 1.1.1.1 DNS2: 1.0.0.1

Adguard has a how-to guide on how to change your DNS server image

You just have to scroll down a bit

It's my college network. It's heavily restricted. Even whatsapp is blocked. Imagine what's on going on in their heads.

Changing dns is also not possible. It refuse to connect to the DNS servers. Trust me I have tried everything.

ArjixWasTaken commented 1 year ago

oof, sounds tough

It refuse to connect to the DNS servers

Then your college might have a whitelist and not a blacklist, wow

ArjixWasTaken commented 1 year ago

does that mean you can't even access direct IPs? Like, does https://1.1.1.1 not load? (thats cloudflare)

venkat2305 commented 1 year ago

nope.

Although I don't trust it, you could try hola vpn, it is a browser extension and from my experience nobody blocks it
