ActivityPub cross-platform compatibility with Lemmy broken #787

Describe the bug

It is expected that for some specialized ActivityPub-powered platforms such as FunkWhale, Mobilizon, PixelFed, and PeerTube, federation may not work well. But, we should expect that anything compatible with Plume or Mastodon should work with WriteFreely as well.

Unfortunately, we can see that Profiles hosted on write.as don't federate to Lemmy for some reason.

https://lemmy.ml/u/write_as@writing.exchange works but
https://lemmy.ml/u/blog@write.as does not

Lemmy federates only with groups and writefreely blog federates as a person
