What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using SharpMap.Converters.NTS.GeometryConverter.ToNTSGeometry(geom, 
geomFactory) will cause the error in the summary to occur.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to run to completion, but see an error instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
NTS 1.12.4448.22555, GeoAPI 1.6.4448.22541, SharpMap 0.9.4507.23599, Running on 
Windows 7 64-bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
