Issues:

The game runs perfectly fine with no performance issues whatsoever, the audio does cut out, but only if you pause just before a track switch. Another small issue is that after launching one version of the game, when returning to the screen to select different versions of the game it will guest crash when trying to boot a version that is different to what was previously run and looking at the log it appears to try and reload the xex.

I have not messed around with the game very much but I've noticed occasionally the graphics will glitch out for a single frame at a time in some areas, probably when there's a lot of stuff happening on the screen. It will happen every time in this area in MBL ice palace stage. Interestingly enough this issue does not seem to occur in the NTSC-U version. I have not played through the game enough on the higher difficulties to know how often this issue occurs.

I can confirm that MBL 1.1 Level 999 is basically unplayable on both the PAL and NTSC-U (patched 1.02) releases; flickering OSD glitches are extremely commonplace. Runs perfectly otherwise though!
