Suggestion: GameCube controller support #14

Since the Wii already has GameCube ports this would make for a good feature.

Only possible via the WUP-028 adapter. And that isn't supported yet.

That seems counterintuitive to need an adapter for something that the Wii already has, why can't it just use the built in GameCube ports? I get needing an adapter for RVL-101 or the Wii mini but not the original model.

Because Fakemote is a USB plugin. Not an internal redirector. You might want to look at GC2Wiimote on Bitbuilt forums. It needs BBloader.

a lot of people who use gamecube controllers nowadays have a GCN adapter, and this would solve being unable to use them for the people who own a wii u but not a wii for some wii games. the only way it'd be better is if you could emulate the 4 GCN controller plugs so any game with gamecube controller support actually saw gamecube controllers, like the gcn controller reroute for brainslug and CTGP.
