indestructible bug #570

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
official ruling:

If an indestructible creature has 0 toughness, it will be put into its owner's
graveyard. Being indestructible can't prevent this.

currently using reduce toughness ability will not kill an indestructible
creature.

this is going to be a VERY tough bug to fix.

let me clarify what the ruling is.

lethal damage such as that from combat, or that from a spike damage spell will
not kill indetructible creatures.

however if you put -1/-1 counters on one of these creatures and its life goes
down to or below 0. it is supposed to die.

ill take this one on personally.

i have a fix under way for this now, basically infect, wither, counters which
reduce the creatures toughness to or below 0, power and toughness modifiers
that reduce thier toughness below 0, as per mtg rules when these effects
resolve if the indestructible creatures life is at or below 0 does not matter
if damage was invloved before hand to get them to that point, soon as one of
those effects resolves the creature is put in the grave as a statebased effect.
