PSP - Starting and ending a game slowed down by previously unoccuring extra memstick loading #574

I'm using 0140 on an original PSP, and noticed that the game's loading times
had a significant speed improvement. But, it gradually took me longer and
longer to simply access my deck list (containing six decks), then another long
time to load the opponent list, to the point that between 40 seconds to a
minute lapse before I can start playing. This happens whether the deck contains
many different cards from many different sets, 60 identical lands from one set,
or if wagic has already loaded the same deck and opponent a previous time, or
if it's the first match.
There's no way to tell how many opponent decks I've unlocked, but I'm fairly
sure I'm close to all, as all sets are unlocked and appear in the trophy room.

The in-game itself shows absolutely no outstanding speed problems.

When the game ends (doesn't matter who), the memory stick LED flashes for also
at least between a minute and 90 seconds time between the finishing blow
(damage or empty library doesn't matter) and the "victory/defeated" screen.
From that screen it can take either a second or thirty to return to the main
screen.

I know it's supposed to take a little more time when you unlock something new,
but I've unlocked every set, and this particular bug occurs even when the game
hasn't got anything new (unlocks) or interesting (tasks completed) to say.

Turning off the images in the options changes nothing to the load times.

I didn't try removing the imagesets or my decks, as they were all in the game
along with a full x4 card collection long before the issue occured. The
contents on the memory stick apparently aren't fragmented.

Thanks for an otherwise brilliant piece of software!

I'm pretty sure this is the same issue I fixed post 014.1,
http://code.google.com/p/wagic/source/detail?r=2871.
