Bold not working consistently #112

I try to use bold with *foo* but it vanishes when I lose focus of the window (os x console) or some other reason. This is the only plugin for which bold gets lost until I restart Vim. Other bold text like the one in the first note line doesn't vanish, solely the ones I set as bold myself.

This should not be a vim-notes issue, since I've experienced this on other file types.
