There are the -b and -f switches to achieve that. You can either create an alias or write a wrapper script. See also #351 and #401.
btw.: I have now wittnessed multiple suggestions like these. Perhaps we could establish a faq/wiki?
The alias worked like i wanted to. Should have tried that first. Anyway Thanks!
Tried sxiv a couple days ago. Really liked it. But is there a way to configure it in such a way that it always opens up in full-screen mode or always hides the status bar at the bottom. Basically what I'm saying is Is there a way we could change the default configuration of it?
