can't upload files with ftp over s3fs #386

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Hello,

Detailed description of observed behavior:

I've set up an ftp server with vsftpd, and created a user with a home directory
under a dir mounted with s3fs.
I am able to connect with this user to the ftp,
get a dir list, and download files.
But when I upload a file, the ftp gives an error:

Copying files to remote side failed.
OOPS: ftruncate

after that an empty file is created on the server (with the name of that file)

Is there something else I should be doing?

Thanks.

I've installed the latest version from svn, and it seems to be working fine now.
I'm a bit reluctant of using an unstable version in production though.
Are there any estimation on when the next release will be?

thanks.
